Italians demand answers over their Citizen killed in Nigeria

Italian security officials and politicians are meeting on Friday to discuss the fallout of the death of one of their citizens in Nigeria who was being held hostage along with a British national by terrorists in the north of the country.

After being imprisoned for nearly a year, British construction worker Chris McManus, 28, and his colleague 47-year-old engineer Franco Lamolinara, who were both working for an Italian building company, were murdered as a special forces rescue operation, initiated by prime minister David Cameron, got under way.

In Rome, a number of Italian MPs are demanding clarifications about why Italian authorities were in the dark about the operation.

"We must shed full light on the reasons why the British government did not inform our own," said Massimo D'Alema, president of the parliamentary committee for the security of the republic.

Speaking on the BBC's Newsnight, Senator Lucio Malan said the Italians were not satisfied and wanted to know why they had not been consulted.

"It is quite uncommon that a country that is involved is not informed before. Apparently it was a very difficult situation and it might have been the best decision but it is still to be explained why the Italian authorities haven't been informed," he said.

MP Rosa Calipari said: "It would seem that despite the presence of an Italian who had been in the hands of kidnappers for a long time, our country was told only after the blitz."

Calipari said questions should be asked about why Italian authorities and intelligence officers in Nigeria were not involved in the decision to give the go-ahead for the operation.

The President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, meanwhile sent condolences to Lamolinara's family, saying the country was moved by the death of "one of the multitudes of Italians who bring honour to the country by bringing their best works of creative engineering to the whole world".

Downing Street said that the UK had worked relentlessly to secure safe release of the hostages since their captivity in May 2011 and had been in regular contact with Italian authorities continuously since then.

Government sources confirmed that the hostages were killed once the operation had been "set in train" but it is still unclear how close special forces from the Special Boat Squadron (SBS) were as the two hostages were murdered by terrorists from the northern Nigerian group Boko Haram.

Downing Street batted off claims that they had not kept Italian officials in the loop saying their security personnel had been informed as the operation got under way but added that Cameron's conversation with his Italian counterpart Mario Monti had been delayed as the Italian PM had been in the air as the operation came to its conclusion.

Stunned family and friends in Lamolinara's hometown of Gattinara prepared to declare a day of mourning.

"It was a shock," the mayor, Daniele Baglione, told the Italian news agency ANSA. "We had faith. We didn't expect it." "Franco was well-known and loved in town," Balgione said. "It is a loss for our community."

On Thursday, a grave-looking Cameron announced the death of saying he had authorised the operation in the wake of credible information that their lives were in imminent danger.

The special forces rescue operation, also supported by the Nigerian army, had been recommended by UK intelligence following meetings of the government's emergency committee, Cobra.

The operation may have taken place in Sokoto, a city that has been a home for members of Boko Haram who recently claimed responsibility for a series of deadly church bombings during the Christmas period.

A Nigerian official said intelligence leading to the location of the captives came after the Nigerian secret service raided a Boko Haram hideout in the state of Kaduna. That operation yielded information that the two hostages were being held in Sokoto. The hostage-takers retaliated shortly afterwards by murdering both men, according to the source.

Nigerian security agents have been receiving intelligence training from western countries with years of experience in handling terrorism, including the US and the UK.

Military sources say the training would normally start to show results within 18 to 24 months, about the time since foreign countries began technical assistance to tackle Boko Haram.

A group known as "al-Qaida in the land beyond the Sahel" claimed in December that it had captured McManus. The group released a video showing a blindfolded and bearded man in an orange vest. Three men in dark clothing stood behind him armed with rifles and a machete.

A statement on behalf of the Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan, commended the "co-operation and understanding of the British and Italian governments" and assured that "the perpetrators of the murderous act, who have all been arrested", would be made to face "the full wrath of the law".

The operation was led by the SBS including some Royal Marines, with as many as 20 UK forces personnel involved.

An SBS unit tried to free the men "after a window of opportunity presented itself", said an official familiar with the incident. A Whitehall source described the men's captors as among the "nastiest al-Qaida-affiliated terrorists there are".

Speaking on Thursday Cameron said: "Our immediate thoughts must be with Chris and Franco's families, and we offer them our sincerest condolences. Both families have endured a terrible ordeal, and this is a devastating moment for all of them."

He explained: "After months of not knowing where they were being held, we received credible information about their location. A window of opportunity arose to secure their release.

"We also had reason to believe that their lives were under imminent and growing danger. Preparations were made to mount an operation to attempt to rescue Chris and Franco. Together with the Nigerian government, today I authorised it to go ahead, with UK support."

"I also want to pay tribute to all those, including UK personnel, who worked so hard to try to bring Chris home safely. I am very sorry that this ended so tragically," Cameron added.

"Terrorism and appalling crimes such as these are a scourge on our world. No one should be in any doubt about our determination to fight and to defeat them."

Local reports suggested that the military surrounded a house in the city and there had been sounds of gunfire for much of the afternoon.

Gunfire continued into the night as the military fought with those in Sokoto. Ambulances ferried the wounded. Security forces erected a cordon blocking journalists from getting within a kilometre of the site.

Cameron visited Nigeria last July, months after the hostage capture, and will have discussed the issue with Jonathan. No briefing was given on the hostage position at the time to the journalists accompanying the prime minister, a sign of the extent to which the Foreign Office hoped McManus could be freed without publicity.

McManus's family said in a statement: "We are of course devastated by the news of Chris's death, which we received earlier today. During this ordeal we have relied heavily on the support of our family and friends which has never waned and has enabled us to get through the most difficult of times.

"We are also aware of the many people who were working to try and have Chris returned to our family, and his girlfriend. We would like to thank all of them for their efforts. We knew Chris was in an extremely dangerous situation. However, we knew that everything that could be done was being done.

"Our thoughts are also of course with the loved ones of Chris's colleague, Franco Lamolinara, who are also coming to terms with this truly sad news.

"We now need time to grieve and come to terms with our loss. We would therefore be grateful if you would respect our privacy at this most difficult of times."

Lamolinara had worked in Africa for many years, but returned to Italy 10 years ago before undertaking a further job with an Italian company, Stabilini Visinoni, based in Nigeria. He was said to have been captured on the last day of his contract. The men had been involved in building the central bank in Birnin Kebbi, capital of Kebbi state.

Monti took the phone call from Cameron on a plane trip back to Rome from Belgrade. Monti said: "An unpredicted acceleration of events took place over the last hours. While fearing an imminent danger for the hostages, Nigerian authorities activated the rescue."

Lamolinara leaves behind a wife and two children, an 18-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter

More drama as Britain deports 120 Nigerians

The British Government has deported no fewer than 120 Nigerians from the U.K. for various immigration offences, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

The deportees arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja in Lagos in the early hours of Friday.

The deportees were airlifted back home aboard a chartered cargo aircraft that landed at the cargo section of the international airport.

A reliable source told newsmen that the deportees were brought home in the early hours, so as not to draw undue attention from the public.

The deportees, comprising mainly young men and women, narrated their unsavoury experiences, saying that they were brought back home unprepared by the British authorities.

Many of them were said to have kept themselves busy, making telephone calls to their friends and relations on how to pick them at the airport.

The source said that the deportees also made frantic efforts to move their luggage which were packed in `Ghana Must Go’ bags from the cargo wing of the airport to the airport's main gate, preparatory to finding their ways out of the airport.

Some of the deportees were said to have expressed reservations over the way and manner they were brought home in a cargo aircraft.

Scores of airport workers stopped by to interact with the deportees, as some of them narrated their ugly experiences and not knowing what exactly to fall back on, now that they had returned to a country they left many years ago.

One of the deportees, a young lady, who declined to give her name said: "I am not interested in discussing why we were brought back home but my problem now is how to get out of this airport without drawing unusual attention.

"I must, however, add that it is not a pleasant experience,’’ she added.

Another deportee, a young man, lamented that they were sent home unprepared and wondered how he would be able to cope. (NAN)

Italian Wives Ban Husbands From Coffee Cafe Where Women Dress Half-Naked

This is a very funny story, I never knew Italian women where this jealous, until I read the story.

Wives have ban their husbands from visiting Italian cafe where busty barmaid serves up drinks in skimpy outfits

Men rush to the bar not for the quality of the coffee, but because the bar workers appear for work in highly revealing outfits.

Hundreds of male customers flocked there day and night, leaving their cars double parked in the surrounding streets.

Congestion became such a problem that the lady mayor announced she was considering an emergency bylaw to limit traffic in the area, even the city mayor banned her husband from going to the bar.

Now women in the small northern Italian town of Bagnolo Mella have declared Le Cafe out of bounds to their men.

The female owner of the coffee cafe said: ‘I don’t see what the problem is – it’s just a bit of harmless fun.
‘If the guys come here what can I do?
'I know I have upset the women but that’s not my problem.
'It’s not my fault if guys want to come and have a drink in my bar.’

She added that some customers were travelling up to 70 miles just to have a coffee in her bar.

She has 5,000 new friends on Facebook while a local poll found that 46 per cent of respondents said partners of her male customers should be ‘asking themselves why their partners prefer ladies in the bar to them’.

Several wives from the town have been on TV to complain. One said: ‘It is outrageous and should not be allowed.

S/Africa unveils new immigration procedures as Nigeria accepts apology

PRETORIA (AFP) – South Africa on Thursday apologised for barring 125 Nigerians from the country and unveiled new immigration procedures aimed at ending a diplomatic row between the continent’s two powerhouses.
The dispute blew up after immigration officials at Johannesburg’s main airport last week refused entry to Nigerians, saying their yellow fever vaccination cards might be fake.
Travellers at the arrival wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport II Ikeja in Lagos.
Since then, Nigeria has turned away 131 South Africans in retaliation, Foreign Minister Olugbenga Ashiru told reporters in Abuja.
Nigeria says the cards were unnecessary as the country is yellow fever free.
“We apologise for this unfortunate incident and we hope this matter will not in any way affect our bilateral relations,” deputy foreign minister Ebrahim Ebrahim told reporters in Pretoria.
“We’ve put into place certain mechanisms to ensure this doesn’t happen again, and we believe that this matter is closed,” he added.
Ashiru said he had accepted the apology, saying a South African envoy was expected soon to formally apologies for the row.
“Thereafter we will move quickly to ensure that we put machinery in place so that it will be a lasting solution, because we don’t want this to happen again because of our bilateral relations,” he said.
“We felt it was un-African to have deported well over 125 Nigerians in a space of two days,” he added.
Ebrahim said South African officials had agreed to reopen an airport clinic that would allow travellers to receive yellow fever vaccines on arrival. Immigration officials will also need a foreign ministry official’s consent before turning away large groups of travellers.
South Africa, the richest country on the continent, is struggling with its reputation for xenophobia — a perception that was reinforced after nationwide attacks on immigrants left 62 dead in 2008.
The government has moved quickly to mend this latest row.
“Cabinet expressed shock and regret at the reports regarding how African foreign nationals, particularly Nigerians, and other nationals from other parts of the world have been treated” at Johannesburg’s main airport, minister in the presidency Collins Chabane told reporters in Cape Town earlier Thursday.
Ashiru on Tuesday had accused the South African authorities of targeting Nigerians.
“What you see playing out is what we call xenophobia by South Africans against all Africans — not just Nigerians — including even those from their neighbouring countries,” Ashiru said.
Nigeria had been certified as free of yellow fever by the World Health Organization, the minister said.
“That is why countries in Europe and the US do not demand yellow fever cards from Nigerian travellers,” he added.
Friday’s incident prompted Nigeria’s Arik Air to suspend its flights to Johannesburg, though it has since resumed its service.
Arik, one of two airlines affected, said health officials had given the reason as incorrect or unrecognised batch numbers on the documentation. Proof of vaccination is mandatory before one can enter the country.

IPLOMATIC THREAT: European hotages killed in Nigeria on a failed rescue mission

A British man and an Italian kidnapped in May 2011 in northern Nigeria appeared for the first time since their capture in a video sent to AFP News agency in August of last year

David Cameron named the man as Chris McManus who was killed with fellow hostage Italian Franco Lamolinara.

It is understood a Special Boat Service operation to free them from al-Qaeda aligned kidnappers failed.

The effort to free Mr McManus, from the North West of England, and an Italian hostage was launched by Nigerian forces with the assistance of the UK.

The Prime Minister said the pair appeared to have died at the hands of their captors, either before or during the course of the rescue bid.

Horror : 25 year-old Man Kills Brother Over Chicken Soup

A 25-year-old farmer at Gbingnani, a farming community of the Northern region, Kojo Tamah, is in the grips of the police for stabbing his younger brother to death over a pot of chicken soup.

The suspect, who is currently languishing at a prison in Tamale, was arraigned before a Tamale Magistrate Court 1, presided over by Martey Tey on Thursday on charges of murder.

He is expected to re-appear on March 13, 20012 to enable investigators gather further evidence.

Giving the facts of the case, prosecution indicated that suspect and his deceased brother, live together.Their father’s cockerel got missing on 11th February 2012, but with the help of the accused the cockerel was found.

He later suggested to his father that they use it to prepare pepper soup which the father readily obliged.

His father handed over the cockerel to him to prepare the soup for the entire family to feast since it belonged to the entire family.

While preparing the soup, the suspect left the house to undertake other duties and asked the deceased to take charge but upon his return, his siblings had consumed the entire pot of chicken pepper soup without reserving some for him.

This led to violent clashes between the two as Bassah Tamaha was stabbed several times on his chest, waist and right arm.
Upon his arrest, he admitted the offence in his caution but the police promised to investigate the matter.

555 million women go hungry worldwide

555 million women go hungry worldwide, according to estimates released today (8 March)  to mark International Women’s Day.

The anti-poverty campaign group World Development Movement
One Billion People ... One Dollar ... One Day

One Billion People ... One Dollar ... One Day

is calling for action to tackle spiralling food prices, which disproportionately affect women. The EU will vote later this year on measures to prevent excessive financial speculation in food markets from driving up prices.

An estimated 60 per cent of the world’s 925 million hungry people are women, and 315,000 women die annually in childbirth due to lack of iron. Food prices in 2011 were 24 per cent higher than in 2010, driving more people into hunger, malnutrition and poverty.

Indian government food advisor Biraj Patnaik told the World Development Movement: "Among the complaints of starvation deaths that we receive in my office to investigate, a large number are from single women who are bringing up children … Women often, given the gender inequity in our society, ration their own food so they can feed the children and feed parents."

Judith Atieno Odhiambo from Kenya told the World Development Movement how a sudden price hike affected her: "The prices shot up and later they came down a bit. I didn’t eat for three days, we only had water. My baby was only a few months old. I was breastfeeding but there was nothing coming out of the breast."

Financial speculation by banks and hedge funds is fuelling food price volatility and driving up prices. The US has already moved to limit speculation under the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform Act, and the European Commission has proposed similar controls. But the UK government is blocking the EU measures.

Deborah Doane, director of the World Development Movement, said today: "Soaring food prices are a problem for everyone, but they’re a particular problem for women, to whom it usually falls to feed everyone else. We’ve heard of cases not only where women are going without food, but also where sudden price spikes force them to take on risky and demeaning work like prostitution. And when pregnant or breastfeeding women go hungry, of course, the health impacts on their children are permanent and devastating.

"Short term food price hikes also impact on long term opportunities for women, as girls’ education is often the first thing to be cut when rising food prices squeeze household budgets. Speculation benefits no one but a few wealthy bankers, and if we don’t tackle it now, efforts to improve the lives of women in developing countries will falter."

Notes to editors
India is starting to import greater quantities of commodities such as sugar and palm oil, which are subject to speculation, and is under pressure to open its markets to international trade which could expose its population to the impact of volatile financial markets.

Sex doll available in Nigeria: Is this the end of marriage?

A sex doll has been made with silicon which makes the texture of its skin 99.8 per cent similar to that of human. Olaronke Jaiyeola feels the pulse of Nigerians on the $6,000 (N900,000) doll. Her report,

SEXUAL intercourse as ordained by God is a sacred gift meant to be enjoyed by a man and a woman.

But with civilization cum and modernisation, many other perversed ways of sexual enjoyment evolved.

These days people talk about homosexuality without feeling guilty. Also, sex machines and didos found their ways into our world. Interestingly, though regretfully, many of our highly-placed personalities in the society get involved in such scandalous and perversed mod of sexual relationships.

As technology keeps advancing by the day, innovations keep creeping in, among which the advent of silicon sex doll is made with texture of skin similar to 99.8 per cent of the human skin. Waoh! You'd say? It also has 100 sensors spread around its body, with 30 sensors on its private part. Each sensor makes the doll move in a specific way, taking up to 20 positions. On penetration, the doll emits a light, gentle sound that echoes gently into its partner's ear. When there is any type of pulsation sensed in her private part, she emits light moans of stimulation. Also, she gets wet with a slight touch over any of its sensors.

In addition to the above features, the sex doll is said to have advantages that give her an edge above the normal, natural female human being. She does not speak, nag, get fat, get tired, menstruate, goes shopping, get pregnant, get headaches, request for shopping, visit eateries, fix her hair, among several others.

Is this end of marriage the very one God intended for mankind at creation? In a bid to know what people's response or reaction is to this innovation; Nigerian Tribune spoke with some people who bare their minds here. Will those in the brothel business see this as a welcome development? Will any right-thinking guy go for this, committing his hard-earned money to buy himself a 'wife'? Excerpts:

I feel the devil has created a subtle mindset that this thing is absolutely necessary, so much that you feel you need a doll peradventure a lady is not disposed. It is all being created in the mind. Everything God is opposed to, but the devil always set man against God. You can begin to imagine, with this innovation, a Christian who is trying to abstain from sex might now be tempted to get this satanic sex doll; the rationale will be, afterall, it is not really fornication. The agenda is just to make man offend God.

GIANT OF AFRICA! South Africa apologizes to Nigeria

PRETORIA, South Africa — South Africa apologized Thursday for a mass deportation of Nigerians, trying to contain a diplomatic spat that has again focused attention on its sometimes strained relations with the rest of the continent.

“We wish to humbly apologize to them, and we have,” South Africa’s deputy foreign minister, Ibrahim Ibrahim, told reporters. “We are apologizing because we deported a number of people who should not have been deported

Two diplomats from the Nigerian High Commission who accompanied Ibrahim to the news conference at South Africa’s foreign ministry refused to comment beyond a joint statement that described tit-for-tat deportations. The two countries say the incidents will not affect their relations.

On March 2, South Africa deported 125 Nigerians who, according to airport health authorities, carried fraudulent yellow fever cards. Since then, authorities in Lagos, raising health concerns, have deported South Africans.

Ibrahim said South African airport authorities did not properly check to determine whether the cards were authentic. He said South Africa was considering reopening a health clinic at the airport to ensure such deportations are not repeated.

South Africa and Nigeria are allies, but also sometimes rivals for influence in Africa.

Nigeria Foreign Minister Olugbenga Ashiru, speaking to his National Assembly on Tuesday, linked the deportations to what he called the “xenophobia” faced by Nigerian immigrants living in South Africa who fear police who arrest them without cause.

Ibrahim rejected Ashiru’s charge.

“We are not a xenophobic country,” Ibrahim said Thursday.

But in 2008, South Africa saw a wave of violence against foreigners from elsewhere in Africa that left scores dead. Most of the attacks occurred in squatter camps, where South Africans and foreigners — both camps impoverished — compete for housing and jobs.

South Africa has the continent’s most successful economy, and that draws immigrants from further north. But the wealth is far from equally distributed, creating volatility.

South Africans have economic might and, because they are celebrated for peacefully toppling apartheid, international diplomatic stature. South African periodically question whether that makes them arrogant, or results in their being seen as arrogant, when they meet other Africans. They also say the long years of isolation under apartheid left ignorance on both sides.

Such soul-searching was evident earlier this year, when South African politician Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma failed to win enough votes in the African Union to unseat Gabon’s Jean Ping as chairman of the continentwide body.

Let somebody shout halleluiah!

When I became General Overseer in 1981, people began to call me Daddy, and I was very uncomfortable with that title, I was only thirty nine years old and in those days, the popular thing is to call ourselves brothers and sister; everybody is a bro or a sis. But when I wanted to complain, God spoke to me; he said a brothers can wish you well, it is only a father who can bless and then the blessing will stick.

Today I am seventy years old, I think am old enough to be called Daddy and the first thing I want to do tonight, is that I want to give a father's blessings to all those who call me daddy. So whether you are here or you are watching anywhere in the world; either by television, by internet or radio, if you regard me as your daddy, stand on your feet and let your amen be loud and clear.

My father and my God, the father of all fathers, thank you that at last, I can stand boldly as a father to all these your children and it is in your name that I am blessing them tonight. Every one of you who regard me as your daddy, you shall be blessed.

My God will take you higher than your dreams in Jesus name, because my God will fight for you, you will enjoy victory without a fight, because My God will promote you; you will enjoy success without a sweat.

Because my God is the controller of heaven and earth; I decree from this moment, all the powers in heaven, will come to your assistance.

The resources of the earth will flow into you, beginning from this moment; helpers will seek you out to help you. Because my father in heaven will build a shield over you; destroyers will never come near your home again, because my God is the great provider; your hands will never be empty again, as there is water in the ocean, your anointing will never run dry.

As long as morning follows the night; you will enjoy the mercies of the Almighty God.  My Father in heaven the one who is the God that is more than enough, will from now on see to it that your joy will overflow.

Beginning from tonight, when you knock one door, seven will be open unto you. Any obstacles that the enemy may want to put in your way will become stepping stone to glory in Jesus name. Wherever you turn; you will find favor with God and favor with men and your children will be greater than you.

The Almighty God that I serve will answer all your prayers from now on. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Daddy says because you bless them from the bottom of your heart, He said I have sealed it in.

Ten years ago, I called for people who will be my covenant partners; and several people volunteered. I said it would be for ten years, the ten years are over now and many of them had asked, what's happening, are we going to continue? I told them I will ask God.

When I asked God, He said there will be a new set and it will not be for ten years. He said "because those people were in covenant with you for ten years, I had no choice but to keep them alive for ten years". He said "You tied my hands".

And I remembered all the miracles that happened in the life of my partners, and I thank God for all the miracles, I thank God for all my partners and I say, thank you for the past ten years.

Now, the Lord says to me, the new set of partners will be for only three years. He said after three years, we can review. So, if you want to be one of my partners, your duties will be as follows:
  • 1.     You will pray for us every day, even if it's only one minute; very simple prayer 'Father, strengthen your son, don't let his anointing run dry, don't let him fail you, let him finish strong'. Four simple prayers: strengthen him, don't let his anointing run dry, don't let him fail you, and let him finish strong. That's assignment one for my partners even if it's only one minute a day, please, include us in your prayers.
  • 2.     You'll fast with us as we used to do. February, July and December. All you need to do is a day at a time but if you can fast day and night continuously then, fourteen days alone will be enough. So, you'll pray for us, you'll fast and then you'll support the work we are doing financially.
The new group, your support will be every month instead of every year and there will be ten groups. So, you'll be able to join at least, one of the ten.
  • 1.       GROUP ONE:  N100 a month.
  • 2.       GROUP TWO: N500 a month.
  • 3.       GROUP THREE: N1,000 a month.
  • 4.       GROUP FOUR: N5,000 a month.
  • 5.       GROUP FIVE: N10,000 a month.
  • 6.       GROUP SIX: N50,000 a month.
  • 7.       GROUP SEVEN: N100,000 a month.
  • 8.       GROUP EIGHT: N500,000 a month.
  • 9.       GROUP NINE: N1,000,000 a month.
  • 10.       GROUP TEN: N2,000,000 and above a month.
If you want to do it in Dollars or Pounds, they will show you everything on the screen. So you pick whichever group you want to belong to.

My advice is, come in at whatever level is convenient for you now, I trust my God that as He begins to bless you, you'll keep on moving higher and there will be people who will enter in group two or three today before this time next year, they will already be in group ten.

So please, take some one minute, you'll write your name, your address, your phone number, and the group you want to belong to.

When you're sending the money, when you put it in an envelope, write at the back 'Covenant Partner'. Write it at the back of the envelope so we'll know into which account we will direct the money.

If you're writing a cheque, please write it in the name of The Redeemed Christian Church of God and then at the back, put 'Covenant Partner'. Don't write the cheque in my name.

Any cheque written in my name will be used for what? (Response from the congregation: pounded yam) ah! Thank you, it will go for pounded yam straight.
So, write your cheque in the name of The Redeemed Christian Church of God and then at the back of the cheque write 'Covenant Partner'.

My own duty is that I pray for my partners everyday; not once a month but everyday.  And I promise you, my God who had been faithful to me all these years will be faithful to my partners also in Jesus' name.

He made a promise, He said all those who are lifting up my hands, He said as I rise, they will rise. So you will rise with me in Jesus' name. So, you'll write your name, your address, your phone number, the group you want to belong to and please drop it in the offering basket later on in the night.

LET THE FIRE FALL

Judges 15 v 11-16 Then 3,000 men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam and said to  Samson, "Do you not know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What then is this that you have done to us?" And he said to them, "As they did to me, so I have done to them."
They said to him, "We have come down to bind you so that we may give you into the hands of the Philistines." And Samson said to them, "Swear to me that you will not kill me."

So they said to him, "No, but we will bind you fast and give you into their hands; yet surely we will not kill you." Then they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him mightily so that the ropes that were on his arms were as flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds dropped from his hands.

He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, so he reached out and took it and killed a thousand men with it.

Then Samson said, "With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps upon heaps, With the jawbone of a donkey I have killed a thousand men."

What happens when the fire of God falls?

Number one; Yokes are destroyed. Isaiah 10 v 27 says the anointing destroys the yoke, when the fire of God fell on Samson, all the ropes binding him were burnt, they were not just cut but they were burnt. Because the fire that came down is the fire from the Almighty God and Hebrew 12 v 29 says our God is a consuming fire, so when the fire of God comes down, yokes seen and unseen are destroyed by the fire of God. And I am praying for someone here tonight, that whatever yokes may remain in your life, that which is not letting your life to prosper, that which have been hindering your legs from making progress they shall be consumed tonight in Jesus name.

The second thing that happens when the fire fall is that the one in whom the fire falls become empowered so that whatever his hands touches begins to prosper. Samson found the jawbone of an ass and the jaw bone of an ass suddenly became a weapon of war. Because when the fire of God falls, the one on whom it falls receive power.

In Act 1 v 8 the Bible says we shall receive power when the Holy Ghost is come upon us, in Act 3 v 1-8 after fire have poured upon Peter, he took a lame man by the man and because his hands has received power, he was able to transfer that power into the layman, and the layman now began to walk. I want you to stretch forth at this moment and say fire of God, fall on these hands so that from now on whatever I touch will begin to prosper.

The third thing that happens when the fire of God falls is that all external enemies are destroyed. Samson took the jawbone of an ass and suddenly all the enemies that didn't run, laid down dead. The bible says in Psalm 68 v 1- 2 it says when God arise, his enemies will be scattered. And I am prophesying to someone here tonight, by the time you returned home, you will find that all your enemies are gone.

The Lord says there is someone here He said that business that was closed down, will reopen.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight; he said that which your enemy has swallowed he will vomit it.

The Lord says many homes will soon be filled with the laughter of new children.

Deuteronomy 28 v 1 -7 says clearly that if you are obedient to God, you won't have to fight he said the enemy that comes against you in one way will flee before you in seven ways. In the name that is above every other name, from now on, all the enemies that stand up against you will be smitten by the Almighty God himself.

The fourth thing that happens when the fire of God falls is that the household enemies will be disappointed.

It was the relatives of Samson that bind him; they were those who handed him over to the external enemies. They were those who felt let us get rid of this trouble maker, they felt that Samson will never come back home, but God disappointed them.

All the enemies in your father's house, all the enemies in your mother's house. All the enemies in your husband house, all the enemies in your wife house, after tonight they shall be disappointed.

All those who though you will not reach your goals, all those who wanted to kill your dream like the brothers of Joseph, in the name the one who sent me, after you have reached your goal they will come and bow before you.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight, who is down cast, he asks me to tell you, that your sun will rise again.

David said in Psalm 23 v 5 David said thou prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemy, I assure every one of you listening to me tonight, whether the enemies like it or not, it shall be well with you.

The fifth thing that happens when the fire of God falls is that destiny will be restored.

When the relatives of Samson brought him bound to the enemy they thought his destiny was over, but then the Almighty God has a purpose for the life of Samson and God saw to it that the plan of the enemy to truncate the destiny of Samson was foiled. I have always said it nobody comes to this world without a reason.

God sent  you to this world for a purpose, when you were young you had some beautiful dreams, you had dreams of greatness but as time began to go, it looks as if those dreams will never be fulfilled, I have good news for you tonight, before the end of this year, you will have a testimony.

The Lord says there is someone here, he said your constant prayer has been; God bless Daddy G.O, the Lord asked me to tell you, I will bless you also.

The Lord said there is someone here tonight, He said before the end of this month of March, he said you will sing "He has done it for me, what my family cannot do, he has done it for me".

The Lord says there is someone who has made up his mind that he will deal ruthlessly with The Redeemed Christian church of God. The Lord asked me to tell whoever that is, and he is not saying the fellow is here, he just sad someone, and if you know such a person please tell him. He said the fellow should choose the kind of death he wants to kill him, he said he can have one out of four; motor accident, sleep and not wake up, cancer or heart attack.

Please I beg you,  If you are the one and you are here, stay put with God at the altar tonight, don't go home beg him until he will change his mind, when we finish stay put, you he knows all things. If it is your relatively, if you have ever heard someone says that, tell him what came out this night.

The sixth thing that happens when the fire fall is that when the fire falls on you, suddenly you begin to have the last laugh.

The Philistine were rejoicing; we got our enemy, he is even bound, this fellow is finished but not long after that, Samson was the one saying with the jaw bone of an ass, I have wiped out my enemies.

I prophesy to someone here today, in the name that is above every other name, you will laugh last.

In Daniel 6 v 1 -24 the enemies saw the way Daniel was rising so they plotted against him to put an end to him permanently they threw him into the den of lions , rolled a big stone, they thought this fellow is finished. I am sure they must have gone home that night rejoicing, but by the following morning, Daniel came out alive, the king sent for the enemies and asks them to go into the den themselves. I assure you, by the time the sun rises this day; it will be your turn to laugh at your enemies
.
The Lord said there is someone here tonight who has been asking, when will God answer my prayers? He asked me to tell you, tonight!
The Lord said there is someone here tonight, he said take a proper record of where you are now, he said because I am about to take you far.

In Exodus 12 v 31- 36 when the fire of God fell in the land of Egypt, Pharaoh sent for Moses in  hurry, the one who had said "who is your God, I don't know him and I am not going to let you go", now said, go quickly, go and worship your God and bless me also. I can see Moses saying, I thought saying you don't know my God and you are now asking my God to bless you. All those who have been asking where is your God? you will laugh last over them.

When the fire of God falls, a child of God will begin to sing a new song.
Humanly speaking, f Samson has a song before the fire fell, it will be it looks as if the end has come, but after the fire has fell, he began to sing a new song.

Every one of you here tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus, you will begin to sing a new song. Psalm 40 v 1-3 he said when I cried to the Almighty God, he brought me out of the miry clay and he put a new song in my mouth. The bible says in 126 v 1-3 he said when the Lord turned the captivity of Zion, he said we were like them that dream, then was our mouth filled with laughter and our tongue with singing.  In the name that is above every other name, from this moment forward, you will be laughing for joy; you will be singing a new song.

The Lord said there is someone one here tonight, impossible as it may appear to you, he said one day when you arrived anywhere, everybody will stand up for you.

I think God reserve the best for the last for me!

The Lord says there is someone here tonight; he said your own golden age begins now.

Daddy says, it is usually said flowers fade, stories end, he said but there is someone here tonight, your testimony will never end.

That is the crown of it that means those who are thinking that maybe one day I will grow less, they are wasting their time.

1 Samuel 2 v 1 -10 when the Lord answered Hannah, she sang a new song, those of you who have been saying this barren woman is going to die barren, now come and see. You know when I was listening to the first testimony tonight of the woman who have been barren for seventeen children and God gave her four children at a go and I know, that I have asked God for seventy thousand children.

I know that testimony is going to be multiplied among my people.

Let me move out of the way so that the Holy Spirit can do what he wants to do.
When the fire falls, what it does depends on whom it falls. When the fire falls it either turns what it fell upon to fire or turn it to ashes.

You put a piece of wood in fire; the good part of the wood, will also become fire, the bad part of the wood will become ashes. When the fire of God falls, if you are not a child of God ,if you are not on the side of God, if you are leaving a life of sin, it is a dangerous thing to ask the fire of God to fall. Because if it falls on you and you are not one of his children, it will only destroy you.

Let God arise and his enemies be scattered and Jesus Christ says those who are not for me are against me, if you are not born again, if all your sins have not been watch away by the blood of the lamb and you say let the fire fall, how are you going to handle it? Tonight, we are going to pray in a moment, we are going to call on the fire of God to fall, it is already falling but it is about to fall down even heavier.

If you are not born again, you better run forward now, come and give your life to Jesus, let the blood of Jesus watch away your sins and then when the fires comes, it will provide you with mighty miracles.

If you want to give your life to Jesus begin to come now... And as you are coming begin to call on God, ask him to save your soul, ask God to be merciful unto you, ask him to forgive you all your sin, promise him that you will serve him from now on... the rest of us, let pray for them, and intercede that the Almighty God who save your soul will save their souls also.... in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Savior we bless your name, thank you for this your children and before this evening you have not allowed them to perish. Now they have come to you, please receive them in Jesus name, forgive them in Jesus name, let your blood cleanse them from all their sins in Jesus name.

Save their souls tonight and write their names in the book of life in Jesus name. When the fire falls tonight, let it bring them miracles in Jesus name. And I pray that they will never go back into to the world in Jesus name, thank you Almighty God, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen.

Those of you, who have come to give your life to Jesus tonight, let me hear you shout halleluiah! I am rejoicing with you because from now on by the special grace of God I will be praying for you. So I am going to need your name, your address and your prayer, the counselor will give you a card, please fill the card at http://www.rccghome.org/new-convert-online-form-2.html.
